Kerry Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre (KRSAC) are recruiting a Case Manager

KRSAC provides a professional, free counselling & support services to all survivors of all sexual violence.  We are committed to delivering our services with care and professionalism and continue to strive to ensure that we provide the best service for all our clients.

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Therapist to join the team at KRSAC for 7 hours Weekly. This is a permanent post

The position of Case Manager will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Manage waiting list & requests for counselling, set up appointments and assess clients who contact KRSAC for counselling for suitability of our service.
  • Allocate clients for counselling to Counsellors
  • Contact clients on list (monthly if possible)
  • To keep notes and data in line with KRSAC policy.
  • To oversee release of notes to AGS & organize accompaniment
  • To follow up with external agencies who are referring clients for counselling
  • To maintain levels of supervision required by KRSAC.
  • To participate in advocacy and policy work if needed.
  • To respond to other duties which may, from time to time, be assigned by the Manager in reflection of the needs of KRSAC.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be fully qualified & accredited member of IACP, IAHIP, PSI, ICP.
  • Have experience and/or training in working with sexual violence.
  • Have experience in working with adolescent and adult clients.
  • Report to the Manager of KRSAC
  • Keep up to date with best practice and procedures in line with the Code of Ethics of IACP, IAHIP, ICP,PSI or equivalent governing body.
  • Flexibility is required as you may be required to work outside of opening hours.

 

(Scale for this post is based on National Counselling Services HSE- €45894-€80557  pro rata)

OTHER BENEFITS: KRSAC  pension scheme Employer contribution up to 7% of salary when matched by employee contribution (post probation period of 6 months).

Note: the successful candidate will be required to complete a Garda Vetting application form.
