Kerry Rape & Sexual Abuse Centre (KRSAC) are recruiting a Part-time Administrator.

KRSAC provides a professional, free counselling & support services to all survivors of all sexual violence.  We are committed to delivering our services with care and professionalism and continue to strive to ensure that we provide the best service for all our clients.

We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join the team at KRSAC for 2 days  – 14 hours Weekly. This post is permanent.

As a key member of our Administration Team, the successful candidate will support the internal operations of KRSAC and provide support to the Manager, and the wider staff when needed. You will have a positive and responsive attitude towards collaborative working that encourages the best from, and supports the efforts of others.

The successful candidate will report to the Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone that is passionate about the work of KRSAC and enjoys a challenge

The role includes general and office support duties, as follows:

General administration support duties such as:

  • Be the first point of contact for the clients/ answering the phone/recording calls and appointments
  • Provide timely and efficient administration support and diary management
  • Coordinate and take minutes at internal meetings;
  • Assist with training and data entry to the statistical database

Office Support duties such as:

  • Oversee the management of office supplies;
  • Provide support with executing building maintenance requests;
  • Maintain office equipment, co-ordinate IT issues for resolution and provide 1-1 training to staff if required
  • Supporting staff with inputting client data
  • Creation of forms/logs and processes to ensure smooth running of organisation
  • Creation of documents to support staff as required

  

The Person

Ideally, the person suited to this important role within KRSAC will be highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will have a positive and flexible attitude in response to organisational development,

Essential Competencies & Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years working in a busy office environment
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work
  • Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent attention to detail and clear understanding on confidentiality
  • Clear evidence of self-motivation, with an ability to work under pressure
  • Pro-active and enthusiastic approach to work

(Scale for this post is based on HSE Clerical Rate : €25,352-€41,503 pro rata)

OTHER BENEFITS: KRSAC  pension scheme Employer contribution up to 7% of salary when matched by employee contribution (post probation period of 6 months).

Note: the successful candidate will be required to complete a Garda Vetting application form.
